Rob is everything you could ask for in a full-service realtor. He’s super earnest and talented, and yet he’s efficient, detail-oriented and thorough. Rob is also quite resourceful and practical – he knows how things work in homes and has the contacts to get things done. Most of all, as the agent working with both sides of our transaction, Rob showed us all how he could objectively balance advocacy and negotiating skills with a keen sense of loyalty to both parties, which is difficult to pull off. Back in November of 2015, my partner and I stayed at Rob’s Airbnb; we had no idea that he was a Realtor when we booked our visit to explore the possibilities of moving to and buying a home in Asheville. Rob has been available night and day, responding promptly when we found any home that interested us throughout these past 5+ years. He has guided us with his expertise in many ways, time and time again. We closed on our first house on March 15 of 2021. Grateful are we for his help, and his continued help and friendship. I just recently closed on a property thanks to the expertise and help of Rob Montague. I wanted to write you a note to make you aware of how good Rob is. From a customer service and customer experience point of view, I was blown away. Everything from attentiveness to speed of responsiveness as well as anticipating my needs was excellent. He made my experience wonderful and through his efforts allowed me to close quickly without headaches and delays. We chose Asheville as the place we’d like to retire, based on the culture, art, music, food and multitude of outdoor activities. However, we did not know anything about where we should live. Rob was referred to us by a mutual acquaintance/client. Rob and Christian guided us through different neighborhoods and homes, always being honest. After returning to Minnesota, they continued to look for us and did FaceTime walk-throughs so we could better evaluate places. Because of their tireless and positive attitudes, we found our perfect spot in Black Mountain. Once again, they were our advocates during the closing, doing a FaceTime final inspection and making sure everything was functioning as it should. We felt completely at ease, trusting their opinions. We cannot say enough good things about working with these two. They went above and beyond our expectations. Kind of bittersweet when we finished our search because we enjoyed spending time with them! We will put them on the list of new friends in Asheville.
